Finally, we registered our son Luke in Pre-K. Today,my husband and I went to Jones Elementary School to register our son. We were asked to present some documents that we were residents in Bremen City. We were asked to present the following stuffs: Water bills, electric bills, birth certificate of our son, his medical records, dental records, and social security card. We did not pay any single penny during the registration because we live in the city limit. This is a great advantage on our part. Do you know how much it cost for the parents who live outside of the city limit to register their children? They need to pay $1,250.00/child right there during the registration. Is it not very expensive? To me, yes it is very expensive. But anyway, those who do not live within the city limit will not be accepted right away, instead they will be informed whenever there are vacancies. The residents of Bremen city are given the priority to be registered first before the outsiders. That is fair!
I am so excited to see my boy in school. Being a first time mom, it is my great happiness to see my son in school. Much more if he will be successful in his journey in life. I can not deny also that I am so worried about him specially his meals. There are a lot of questions in my mind. Does my son eat his meals regularly? Is he alright in school? Does he behave inside the classroom? These are the few questions I always encounter. Being a responsible mom, I will do the best I could for my son just to make sure that everything will go right. I love my son very much! I am sure all the parents feel the same too.
